Mini Primark Hall

Just a quick one today (I'll save the huge blog posts for the weekends). I went to Primark on my lunch today to get some short-sleeved t-shirts for work as it's absolutely boiling on my office (it's on the sunny side of the building and if there is air conditioning, it certainly doesn't work)! I was really pleased to find 3 lovely tops for £10!! Bargain!! [Btw my office is fairly laid-back so these t-shirts aren't too casual]

Black top with lovely lace detailing £4

Blue stripey top £3

Green stripey top £3

I'm really pleasantly surprised by the quality and fit of these t-shirts. I wasn't sure about the length of the stripey ones but they look a lot cuter (and more smart/stylish) tucked loosely into nice trousers. I'm so glad I finally have some tops for work that I'm not going to melt in! :-)

One last thing I got was this cute owl wrapping paper. It was only £1 for 5 metres, which will keep me going for a while! Yay!!

Please comment below and let me know if you've got any great bargains recently!

    1. Thanks :) Yeah I wore it to work today, felt very smart and stylish, if I DO say so myself! :) I don't think I'll ever buy everyday/work tops from anywhere else again! Maybe going out tops I might splash out a tiny bit, but for everyday these are just fantastic :) x

  5. I love the black lace top, nice enough for a night out but wouldn't look out of place with jeans during the day. I like dual use clothes.

I am in love with all the owl things around at the moment, but the house hold things wouldn't fit in with my style so all I have in my house is a little picture in my hall, that I actually bought for the poem it has on it. I think the wrapping paper is perfect for a little taste of my owl obsession. I always buy a roll or two of Primark wrapping paper to have in as I hate having to pay a fortune locally when I have forgotten a birthday.

    1. Thanks for the comment :) I totally agree about dual use clothes!! I never seem to own many clothes at any one time (due to a lifelong lack of money), so smart/casual tops are my favourite as I can wear them for work, weekends, going for meals, etc. :) I love owls too!! My boyfriend also loves all the owl stuff around at the moment and always gets sad because there'll be a bit of pink/purple on it (because the owl trend seems to be focused completely on girls) so he feels like he can't have it! Aw it's so sad! I found him a couple of non-pink owl-related gifts for xmas though :) x

      p.s. following your blog :)
